Chris Brown (born 3 February 1991 in Flower Mound, Texas) is an American ice hockey center who was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 2nd Round (36th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Brown played junior hockey with the U.S. National Team Development Program[1] from which he then accepted a scholarship to play college hockey with the University of Michigan Wolverines of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). In his first season with the Wolverines, he was honored by being selected to the 2009-10 CCHA All-Rookie Team.[2]
